I've added a "quote of the week" module on SEDSWiki, http://wiki.seds.org. I think I have it functioning properly (that is, it updated automatically on Monday like it should). However, it needs to be fed quotes, and it needs your input for this. If you go to the wiki, you should be able to find the "submit a quote" link and follow the directions on that page and add your favorite quotes for future weeks (the systems engineer in me wants you to know that the quotes must be verifiable). Let me know if you have any questions or if something is not working properly. And please, if you want to use SEDSWiki for your own project but are unsure how to do it, I'd love to help you. It's a very useful tool. -Kirk ____________________________________________________ Kirk Kittell kittell@seds.org Mobile: +1 703-475-9212 From mclinkor at MIT.EDU Tue Jan 30 20:58:29 2007 From: mclinkor at MIT.EDU (Ryan McLinko) Date: Tue Jan 30 20:59:55 2007 Subject: [SEDS-discuss] Upcoming Conferences (March-April) Message-ID: <45C013E5.2050004@mit.edu> In March and April, a number of great conferences will be taking place across the country. Now is the time to begin planning attendance to any of these if you plan on going. Let me know if you are interested in attending any of these conferences and I will hopefully be able to get you discounts, booths, and coordination of travel among conferences. Also, please make sure that everyone in your chapter is aware of these, especially those that are in your area. Also note that one of these, Yuri's Night, is not a conference, but is held in many locations across the world. If there is not one in your area already, it is relatively easy to start one.
