I have an adviser, and tomorrow I will talk to my fellow classmates about joining. My deadline for registering for the fall of this year is May 31st, but the process should be completed well before then. Just a heads up. ________________________________________________________________________ More new features than ever. Message-ID: <1355ea10801230923ve28e8b9ic5a07ece432496e0@mail.gmail.com> Hi all. Brad, a student from U of Buffalo SEDS, is looking for a place to crash in/near DC for the SEA Legislative Blitz ( http://www.spaceexplorationalliance/blitz). He asked if I could help, but since I've moved away from the DC metro system I'm not a very useful node for someone visiting DC. Can anyone spare a couch? More information about his request -- and the SEA Legislative Blitz -- available here: http://forums.seds.org/showthread.php?t=2888 Thank you, -Kirk -- _________________________ Kirk Kittell e: kirk.kittell@gmail.com m: +1 703-475-9212 w: http://www.kirkkittell.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Since our first meeting at the IAC in Hyderabad in September 2007, we have successfully embarked upon and completed the first part of ourdesignprocess. This has left us with important new experiences when it comes to satellite design and international cooperation. To document and analyse our work in the past few months, we have completed a comprehensive Design Reviewof all technical subsystems. The SEDSAT-II Design Review Document can be found here: http://wiki.seds.org/index.php/SEDSAT-2_Design_Review_I We believe that it is time to accelerate our progress through the expansion of our knowledge and experience base. It is to accomplish this end that we have begun actively recruiting members again. If you are a university/college student interested in becoming involved in a truly international student project this might be the perfect opportunity! Our minimum requirements are that you have completed at least one year of higher education and that you have undertaken at least one subject that can be applied to spacecraft design (examples: orbital dynamics, mechanical engineering, embedded design, attitude determination and control etc). In particular, we require more personnel in areas ranging from ground control to attitude control. If you are interested in learning more about our project we have created an introductory post at the SEDS Forums. You can also consult our website at http://www.sedsat2.seds.org for further information and the application form.
