The Great Vicki Peterson Discography

*The following is a compiled list of every release Vicki Peterson has appeared on outside the Bangles.

The Psycho Sisters

1. Timberline -( S. Cowsill/V. Peterson) (1992)Not widely released, though some airplay on radio.

* Recorded on the S.O.L. Records label.

2. Psycho Sisters (Debut Album) - The Psycho Sisters have been working on a CD for well over 15 years! The first sessions were in 1992 and the duo have done additional recording in 1996, 1998, and 2001. Rumor has it Kevin Salem was at he board for those sessions. Despite this, we only have a hint of what might be on this CD through the rare Psycho Sisters shows that have cropped up here and there. Vicki tells us NOT TO GIVE UP on a Psycho Sisters CD. We aren't, we just can't wait and wanna know when we will see it! ;)

"Double Date"

While playing in the club scene in the early 1990s. Vicki Peterson and Susan Cowsill, the Psycho Sisters would be backed up on stage by Vicki's then boyfriend Gary Eaton on guitar, and Susan Cowsill's then fiance Peter Holsapple on bass. This cool little incarnation went onstage billing themselves Double Date...er...well. because both couples were on a musical... um... Double Date.

Together with Giant Sand's drummer John Covertino, the quarted recorded two songs for the Thirteen Years of Loosing Money" box set of 45" singles - released on Granstanka Records. The two songs were "Farmer's Daughter" and "Stoned Soul Picnic." (Songs originally by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and songstress Laura Nyro respectively.) The two song set was recorded and produced by Vicki's brother, Dave Peterson. Incidentally, "Farmer's Daughter" would become a sometime part of the Continental Drifters shows in later years.
