Discovered by William Herschel on March 5, 1785.
William Herschel discovered NGC 5634 on March 5, 1785 and cataloged it as
H I.70.
This object is a considerably faint globular cluster.
The image on the right was obtained by
Chris and Dawn Schur from
Payson, Arizona with their 12.5" f/5 Home made Newtonian and SBIG ST7E CCD
camera. This is an LRGB composite image, exposed LRGB = 30:10:10:10 min.
